The CRE in Telehealth investigators held their 2016 planning retreat on 16-17 March to take stock and plan the CRE’s future contribution to telehealth research. They benefited from the futuristic wisdom of Dr Doug Fridsma, President and CEO of the American Medical Informatics Association, who visited the meeting for its session titled Snapshots of the Future.
2015 saw the CRE group produce and post on this website a telehealth policy digest and contribute to the disseminationof telehealth knowledge, with over 60 conference presentations and 34 peer-reviewed publications.
The investigators are planning a range of innovative projects to build on these outcomes in 2016.
