Professor Deborah Theodoros is the Director of the RECOVER Injury Research Centre at The University of Queensland and the Leader of the RECOVER theme “Improving the delivery and availability of evidence-based services”. She is a Professor of Speech Pathology, and founder and co-director of the Centre for Research in Telerehabilitation, and the Telerehabilitation Clinic within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on the assessment and treatment of acquired motor speech disorders and on the development and implementation of telerehabilitation applications in speech pathology. She has been awarded over $10 million in research funding including six NHMRC project grants in the field of telehealth. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology and is a regular editorial consultant on several international journals in the fields of speech pathology and telehealth.
