Professor Gray is the Lead Chief Investigator for the CRE in Telehealth. He is the Director of the Centre for Health Services Research and the Centre for Research in Geriatric Medicine. He has training in geriatric medicine and health administration.  Prior to taking his position at The University of Queensland in 2002, he held senior management positions in the public health system in Victoria, in general management and aged care services. As a clinician, he consults at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where he is based, and into small rural hospitals, primary care practices and aged care facilities via telemedicine.  His research interests focus on aged care, models of health care service delivery, assessment and care planning systems, e-health and telemedicine strategies.
