Dr Dominique Bird is the Program Manager for the CRE in Telehealth at the Centre for Online Health at UQ. Prior to this position, she was the TLC Diabetes Program Manager, Monash University, evaluating an automated conversational system for diabetes management, and the Project Director for a national study of quality of life in residential aged care facilities, Queensland University of Technology. Dr Bird’s main research interests have focused in the past 10 years on innovative approaches to improve health delivery, in particular support for chronic disease self-management.
