Presented by Sean Halloran - Telehealth Services Manager
Sean manages the day-to-day operations of the PA Telehealth Centre, and works collaboratively with Centre for Online Health and Metro South Health Service staff to identify, develop and enhance of a broad range of clinical telehealth services at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
In 2012, the PA Telehealth Centre was established as a centralised, in-hospital clinical-telehealth hub to support to a handful of clinical areas and to promote the development of telehealth across the hospital. Over the past 6 years, the number of services supported by the centre have expanded rapidly. The Centre’s work has evolved beyond a telehealth coordination service to a vital collaboration in the development of telehealth both within the PA and across the Metro South Health service. This presentation will reflect on the history of the telehealth centre, its current work and possible future direction.
A light lunch will follow the forum. Do not hesitate to circulate the forum details to colleagues who could be interested. For more information, please contact the CRE in Telehealth team.
