The team from the CRE in Telehealth is delighted to invite you to another forum of its monthly series on Friday, 2 September. Please join us for a presentation by Emma Rushbrooke, Clinical Director, Hear and Say. A Telehealth model of service provision and support provides clinicians with increased flexibility and exciting and rewarding opportunities. will provide an overview of the telehealth services offered at Hear and Say, including Listening and Spoken Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Audiology services (i.e. programming of cochlear implants) to people with hearing loss as well as the organisation’s use of remote mentoring for professional staff.

Telepractice has the potential to provide equitable services and overcome the barriers of distance. Information about outcomes and lessons learned over the 18 years that Hear and Say has been delivering telehealth services will be shared.

Join us at the forum held on Friday, 2 September from 11:00am-12:00pm in the Translational Research Institute (TRI) seminar room 2007 at the PA Hospital. A light lunch will follow the forum. All welcome. No registration required. Do not hesitate to circulate the forum details to colleagues who could be interested. For more information, contact Dominique Bird.
